Ellie McWalter

Ellie first joined Stratton on a 12-month internship in 2020, returning part-time while completing the final year of her Mathematics degree at the University of Manchester. After graduating, she became a permanent member of the team and progressed from financial administration into paraplanning.

Much of Ellie’s work involves analysing clients’ circumstances, helping to formulate financial planning strategies, and translating detailed recommendations into clear reports. She holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and mortgage and equity-release qualifications and is continuing her studies towards Chartered status.

Away from financial planning, Ellie enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends. She is particularly fond of city breaks and likes to make sure there is always another trip or holiday in the calendar.
