Rhys Edwards

Rhys brings more than 23 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services industry. Before joining Stratton, he worked at LIFT-Mortgages, building extensive knowledge of the different circumstances and challenges borrowers can face.

He advises across residential mortgages and Buy-to-Let, including limited company Buy-to-Let. His clients include first-time buyers, home movers, high-net-worth individuals, business owners, self-employed people, contractors, medical professionals and those working in sport and entertainment. Rhys takes time to understand each client’s circumstances and objectives, treating every application with the same care he would give his own.

Away from work, Rhys enjoys adventuring with his family. A martial arts master and former professional competitor and champion, he holds a 7th Dan Black Belt in Muay Thai/Kickboxing and a 5th Dan in Japanese Combatives (Combudo). The discipline, preparation and attention to detail involved are qualities he also brings to his work and client relationships.
